Pam is running for Lucas County Commissioner because Lucas County needs a real Republican voice on the Board. With 28 years of business experience, Pam understands the needs of business and what it takes to be successful. Job creation and retention through economic development is the number one issue facing Lucas County. Lucas County government needs to support business, and Pam is committed to removing government barriers to bringing business to Lucas County and having a successful business environment once those businesses are here and for those already present in the County. 

Pam supports regional cooperation and promotion as a means of fostering business development. Too often in Lucas County local governments compete with each other for existing business rather than focusing on attracting new businesses to Northwest Ohio. This intramural competition hurts our local governments and does not promote growth within our area. We need to pull together to attract new business to Lucas County, and stop fighting over the business that is already here. 

Pam will bring an experienced suburban perspective to the Commissioner’s office. Pam has lived in Toledo, but has raised her family and served our community for the last 24 years in Toledo’s suburbs. Her opponent seeks to be the third Toledo City Councilman on the Board leaving the rest of Lucas County without a voice on the Board. Pam understands the importance of Toledo to our County, but will bring a suburban perspective to the Board that is currently missing. Pam will be a uniquely credible voice for Regional cooperation and promotion that will benefit all of Lucas County.

Pam will be a strong independent voice as your Commissioner that will demand accountability. Pam’s record in public office demonstrates she can take a strong stand and be an independent voice on the issues that are important to you. Pam leads from strength and is not a get-along-go-along thinker. Pam is not afraid to stand up for what she believes. Accountable government requires the independence that only Pam can bring to the job of Lucas County Commissioner.
